Two months ago, we covered claims made in Germany that Liverpool have included Milot Rashica in the list of summer targets as the Werder Bremen star is attracting interest from the Reds.
WESER-KURIER has the latest update on the Kosovo international and they once again mention the Merseyside club are ‘interested’ in him.
Apart from the Premier League leaders, RB Leipzig are also keen on signing the attacking midfielder.
Julian Nagelsmann is an admirer of the 23-year-old and he absolutely wants the player at his club. The Leipzig manager has personally convinced Rashica to work together at the Red Bull Arena.
This has made Rashica be clear that a move to Anfield ‘could come too soon for him’.
Should he make a switch to Leipzig, he would get an opportunity to play in the Champions League and most importantly, feature regularly. On the other hand, he would have to settle for a limited role if he decides to join Jürgen Klopp’s side.
Therefore, WESER-KURIER states Leipzig will be the player’s next destination.
The discussions between the Leipzig leaders and Rashica’s camp are so advanced that a deal could be made official before the end of this month.
Despite Liverpool’s interest, Rashica is of the belief that joining Nagelsmann’s side seems to be the logical step at this stage of his career.
