N’Golo Kanté has no intention of leaving Chelsea this summer, with the club wholly opposed to a sale regardless.
That’s according to Le 10 Sport, who say all signals from both camps suggest the midfielder will not be leaving at any point in the transfer window.
Kanté has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer having found himself playing a different, and in some cases less important, role under Frank Lampard.
Several big clubs, namely Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, have been linked with making a move should he even be remotely available but Le 10 say this is not the case.
According to their information, there is no ‘concrete action’ around Kanté at this moment in time, and none of the rumoured, interested parties have moved for him at present.
Should they do so, they will find it will be hard to prise him away from London.
Chelsea are ‘absolutely not listening’ to any offers and, even if clubs ‘show their muscles and their chequebook’ they are determined to keep the midfielder.
He too isn’t interested in a move, and ‘feels good’ at Chelsea at present. Indeed, even if ‘prestigious clubs’ come calling, he ‘does not intend’ to leave the club for a while yet.
That should put any rumours of an exit to bed for now, although as we’ve seen on numerous occasions, nothing stops the mill from churning them out.
