Liverpool are ‘considering the option’ of signing Dani Olmo in the next couple of months.

A story from Marca points out that the player’s release clause at RB Leipzig only exists until July 15th. In this period, he can be signed for €60m.

This is considered a big boost for all clubs who are interested in Olmo, as the Bundesliga club are expected to demand much more after that date.

Speaking of sides who could go for him this summer, Marca claim that Liverpool are one of them, along with Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Olmo himself is keen on having his future sorted out before that date, which is also when the Euros end, so it shouldn’t take long until this saga is over.

Marca highlight that Barcelona would have problems to pay for his arrival, especially because of the salary he’d request there.

It then seems that Liverpool and other Premier League clubs stand as favourites to trigger the release clause. Olmo, who struggled with injuries this season, had eight goals and five assists in 25 appearances.
