It’s done, Paul Pogba will be a Manchester United player.
At least, that’s what L’Equipe on Wednesday night are reporting on their website.
According to the French newspaper, everyone involved came to an agreement on Wednesday, and the former Manchester United midfielder will once again become a Manchester United midfielder.
They state that two things were agreed over the past couple of days:
- Juventus accepted Paul Pogba’s request to return to his former club.
- Manchester United accepted to pay Juventus’ demands of €120m after they rejected their first offer of €101m.
There are still a few things to be ironed out, but L’Equipe are fully convinced that Paul Pogba is well on his way to play Old Trafford next season, and it could be done in the next couple of days.
This comes after reports from Italy on Wednesday morning claimed a €125m deal was ‘a step away’ from being agreed.
It now seems that step has been taken, and the deal that was ‘in the pipeline’ is now all agreed.
