Struggling to find a space in Claude Puel’s plans since the start of the season, Adrien Silva has been linked with a move away from King Power Stadium, with Sporting CP battling hard to get a deal over the line.

The latest in that story came from A Bola, who reported the Foxes were asking interested clubs to pay 100% of the midfielder’s salary to take him on loan.

Silva was said to be seeing a move to Lisbon as a ‘priority’, yet he was also offered to other clubs around Europe, according to Jeunes Footeux.

The French website claim that, per their own information, the Portugal international was offered to both Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, two clubs currently looking for midfielders.

While the principality club appear to have secured a transfer for Cesc Fabregas, the Ligue 1 champions are still looking for a defensive minded midfielder to sit in front of their defence.

Adrien Silva can play there, but it’s hardly his most natural role.

Since the start of the season, the 29-year-old has made just five appearances in all competitions for Leicester.
