Leicester in picture to sign midfielder with ‘crazy rating’ – Club and player ‘on same wavelength’ over January move

Leicester City are in the mix to sign RC Lens’ Seko Fofana in the winter market.

That’s according to Le10 Sport, who explain the midfielder is an ‘object of desire’ for several clubs in the ongoing window.

When discussing suitors in England, the Foxes get a mention and the report says Brendan Rodgers’ side are keen on the 26-year-old.

The Ivory Coast international has been ‘dazzling’ for the Ligue 1 side since the start of this season. Operating from the middle of the pitch, he scored eight goals in all competitions.

Therefore, he has a ‘crazy rating’ in the ongoing window.

Although Leicester and others are in the picture to take the player in January, a deal is unlikely to take shape in the coming days because of the stance maintained by both the French club and Fofana.

The two are ‘on the same wavelength’ when it comes to a transfer in January as their wish is to finish the season together. Things, however, could change next summer, but for this month, ‘it’s no, no and again no’.
