Things didn’t work out well for Adrien Silva last summer, when, after announcing a transfer to Leicester City, the player saw his move being blocked by his club Sporting as they wanted more money.
As reported by local newspaper A Bola today, the player’s new agents have recently met the Sporting president Bruno de Carvalho to check the possibilities of a move in the transfer window.
Since his failed transfer, Silva has changed agents and now is a client of Stellar Group, an English company which manages the careers of several British talents.
The Portuguese press seems to have no idea on what clubs are going for Adrien Silva now, and that’s why Leicester City keep being the main name in every story about the midfielder.
After Carvalho stated that Silva is only leaving for his €45m release clause, could the Foxes still go for him? The situation has changed a lot for the club since the last summer, so it’s hard to know if their targets are the same.
