Fotomac have reported Galatasaray winger Bruma has informed his agent Catio Balde he’s not going to stay at Galatasaray next season if Igor Tudor remains in charge.
The Turkish newspaper claim as a result Balde has stopped contract talks with Galatasaray. These latest developments will come as a boost to Leicester City and Southampton, who have recently been linked with the 22-year-old.
Tudor and Bruma have had their problems ever since the Croatian took charge of the Turkish club earlier in the year. Tudar left Bruma out of his first match-day squad back in January and their problems reached a new level when the Galatasaray boss substituted Bruma in the 18th minute against Kasımpasa last weekend.
Fotomac say both Balde and Bruma have delayed contract talks to the end of the season as the player doesn’t want to play under Tudor. However, Tudor was only installed as Galatasaray’s manager a few months ago, and is still likely to be in charge next season.
This puts a big question mark over Bruma’s chances remaining in Turkey, and a move to the Premier League, and either Leicester City or Southampton, is an option for the youngster.
We recently covered reports Leicester City and Southampton were showing an interest in Bruma after initial interest from Tottenham Hotspur. Bruma’s contract situation has been dragging on for months and the two Premier League sides could look to take advantage in the summer.
