Greek website Sdna report Leicester City are showing an interest in Olympiacos defender Omar Elabdellaoui.

The Norwegian right-back will become a free agent at the end of the season and can now speak to overseas clubs with regards to a pre-contract agreement.

Olympiacos have been in talks with their captain over extending his contract but as yet they haven’t been able to reach an agreement.

Sdna report the player is considering his options with Valencia also said to be interested in his signature.

Leicester City have been long linked with a move for the 28 year old, who has been impressive for the Greek club in European competitions this season.

With Ricardo Perreira suffering an ACL injury, Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers could be tempted to strengthen his squad and Elabdelloui seems to be a realistic option.

The former Hull City player has made 38 appearances for his club this season, scoring one goal.
