Sporting continue to have a hard time to bring Adrien Silva back from Leicester City.
Although Claude Puel has said in a press conference that some players who haven’t been used could go, the Lions are still struggling to get a deal with the Foxes.
Newspaper O Jogo takes Puel’s words as a good sign, but A Bola comes up with the details saying things are not looking good for the Portuguese side.
According to their report today, Leicester are demanding interested clubs pay 100% of Adrien Silva’s salary, something that Sporting cannot afford.
Adrien is said to have a return to Lisbon as his priority, but as there are other clubs interested and it’s the Foxes who will have the last word, the player’s wish doesn’t count much in this situation.
The midfielder has only five appearances for Leicester City this season, two in the Premier League and three in the EFL Cup.
