Leicester City right-back Ricardo Pereira is reportedly on a list of possible signings that Barcelona have for the summer.
This list is revealed today by AS, who claim the Catalan side are looking for fullbacks both for the left and right side.
While they want a man to compete with Jordi Alba, they also need a replacement for Nelson Semedo, who’s likely to ask to leave the club.
Besides Pereira, the other right-backs who get a mention are Djibril Sidibé, João Cancelo and Thomas Meunier. And even though there doesn’t seem to be a list of priorities, there’s a reason why the Juventus and the Leicester City players could be the likeliest to move.
AS points out that both Pereira and Cancelo have Jorge Mendes as their agent, just like Nelson Semedo does at well.
The outlet claims that Mendes is a specialist in handling these ‘triangle’ moves, so by taking Semedo out of the Camp Nou, he could end up including another one of his clients in the deal.
Pereira’s price is not mentioned in the story.
