Haber Global’s Fenerbahce reporter Yagiz Sabuncuoglu claims Leicester City are interested in signing Fenerbahce’s Max Kruse.
The German attacker joined the Istanbul club on a free transfer from Werder Bremen last summer, but there were reports in the Turkish press last week which claimed they may be tempted to sell the 31 year old to ease their financial situation.
Sabuncuoglu reports that along with Leicester, Bayer Leverkusen and Real Betis are also looking to sign Kruse, but the player doesn’t want to leave the Super Lig club.
Despite the interest from the likes of Leicester City, Haber Global say no official bids have been made for the player at this stage.
Kruse was linked with a move to Liverpool last summer, and the player also said at the time he was approached by the Premier League side, but decided to join Fener.
He was key in Fenerbahce’s league win over Gaziantep FK at the weekend, scoring his third goal of the season.
Kruse’s contract with the Yellow Canaries will expire at the end of June 2022.
