Fotomaç claim Leicester City’s Ahmed Musa is currently top of Trabzonspor’s shopping-list for the summer window. Musa hasn’t had the best start to life in the Premier League, scoring just 2 goals for Leicester City in the league, adding 2 more in the FA Cup.
The former CSKA attacker has been unable to have the impact he would have wanted since joining the Premier League champions last summer, and after the appointment of new Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare he’s played just 45 minutes of league football.
It’s been reported Trabzonspor want to loan Musa next season, and they believe the player can become an integral part of their squad.
It’s also understood the Leicester City striker has asked his national teammate Ogenyi Onazi about life in Trabzon, and was told he’d have no problems in Turkey.
With the World Cup in Russia next year Musa has to be playing regular club football in order to win back his place in the Nigeria team.
The 24-year-old is under contract with Leicester City until 2020. Whether Craig Shakespeare would be keen on an exit is unknown, but should Leicester want Musa out then they’d surely prefer a permanent move.
