Despite nearly every club in the Premier League having a need for first-team players in some department, they never stop thinking about the future, with many players around Europe still on youth contracts.
One of those is Dominique Youfeigane, currently at Guingamp in France, who picked up his first France U19 cap last September, and who is attracting interest from the Premier League.
According to Foot Mercato in France, Leicester, Brighton and Liverpool have all been keeping an eye on the 18-year-old’s development, who has yet to make a professional appearance for the Ligue 1 club.
The Premier League trio aren’t the only ones tracking Youfeigane’s progress, with Lyon and Marseille in Ligue 1 also making their interest known.
With the Foxes (Kasper Schmeichel), the Seagulls (Mathew Ryan) and the Reds (Alisson Becker) all set in the goalkeeping department for the foreseeable future, this would most certainly not be a transfer for now, but more likely a project for once the above players start declining or get sold.
One to keep an eye on.
