Leeds United and West Ham have been linked with Nahitan Nandez for much of the current year. The Hammers were said to have made an effort for the Argentine during the last winter market, and then refreshed their interest for the summer.
All the way back in March 2019, it was reported Leeds were studying the option of signing the then Boca Juniors player. In August of this year it was reported Marcelo Bielsa saw Nandez as ‘perfect’ for his Premier League side, and then in September Leeds interest was talked up even further.
The Cagliari man is now back in the rumour mill, and that’s prompted Centotrentuno, a specialist website for the Italian club, to take a look at the situation.
They state offers from Leeds United and West Have been ‘sent back’, not considered to be high enough. Napoli have also been interested, and it’s made clear that Nandez’s €36m clause is ‘alive’ for the January window.
Should a club choose to match that then it’s totally down to the player, with no way Cagliari could then stand in his way should he decide to leave.
