There was once a time, not so long ago, that Leeds United’s Giuseppe Bellusci was linked to a different Italian club every few days or so. A return to Italy on a permanent deal, having been there last season on loan with Empoli, suits everyone involved.
All the obvious destinations were linked, both in Serie A and Serie B, and then they were all linked again, but no serious moves came forward and Bellusci is currently living a very uncertain time in his career.
Leeds United are ready to part ways with the defender, and the Elland Road faithful, who fell out with the Italian, would like him to leave the Championship club as soon as possible.
Pianeta Empoli report that Greek club PAOK could be set to make an offer for Bellusci, and sign him from Leeds United.
A quick look in the Greek media shows there have been rumours about PAOK interest in Bellusci over the past few days, so perhaps there’s actually something in this.
