Linked with Premier League clubs over the summer, Bartlomiej Dragowski might now have to make do with Championship football if he wants to enjoy the English dream, with Leeds United interested in the goalkeeper’s services.

That’s according to Il Secolo XIX, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, who deny that Cremonese are keen on the Spezia player, before pointing out that he has a market in England where Hull City are also interested.

They explain Leeds have been ‘on his trail for some time’, regardless of the fact that Illan Meslier is currently their number one in goal as they bid to return to the top-tier this season.

Beyond the Elland Road side and England, the 26-year-old ‘has a market’ in France and Germany as well, suggesting other clubs from those countries are followings situation.

Over in Spezia, they are hoping that they can sell Dragowski in the near future, as it would help alleviate their salary budget on top of giving them some funds to invest in the current transfer window.

Whether Leeds United come forward in an offer isn’t said, and a lot could depend on whether anyone comes knocking for Meslier in the coming weeks, as he remains the undisputed starter at Elland Road.
