Leeds United supporters would much prefer news about their club signing players at the end of the window than hearing about potential exits, and there may be good news coming on that from Italy.
On Tuesday evening we covered claims from Italy that there’s ‘grey smoke’ on the Championship club’s move for Facundo Colidio and Ryan Nolan.
The Inter pair are able to leave the club this summer, and Leeds have been in discussions to sign them, although the formula of Colidio’s move (likely whether it’s a loan or permanent move, and what clause there’d be) has been holding things up.
Grey smoke means it’s between an agreed deal and falling to pieces, so there’s some hope.
Over in Spain, The Kiko Casilla exit rumour has reared its ugly head again.
Mundo Deportivo insist the goalkeeper remains a target for Sevilla, as the La Liga club are finding other options a little on the expensive side.
Sevilla made a €12m offer for Peter Gulacsi, yet his current club RB Leipzig have asked for €22m.
Therefore, Juventus’ Mattia Perin and Leeds United’s Casilla remain options.
