According to a claim in the Turkish media, CSKA Moscow are the latest club to show an interest in Leeds United defender Ezgjan Alioski.
The North Macedonian international will become a free agent at the end of this month and he’s been heavily linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig, with reports Besiktas, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor are interested in the player.
Fanatik now report CSKA are also following the situation with Alioski and that they’ve made a proposal to the Leeds United man. It’s claimed the Russian side have offered the left back €2.5m a season, but he won’t make a decision on his future until after Euro 2020.
It’s also reported he could hold out for more offers from other European teams.
It looked likely Alioski would be heading to Galatasaray this summer following reports he’d signed a pre-contract agreement with them. However, due to the uncertainty at the Turkish club with the presidential elections and that they’ve yet to appoint a new manager, a move to Istanbul stalled.
There have also been reports Leeds United are still looking to keep him at Elland Road and that talks are ongoing over renewing his contact.
