Former Leeds United attacker Adryan has joined Swiss club Sion from Brazil’s Flamengo, with a contract until 2020. The 22 year old had a brief and forgettable spell with Leeds United a few seasons ago.
Fussbal.ch have confirmed Adryan has joined Sion for €3m, after his previous spells in Europe. The youngster rebuilt his career in Brazil after his disappointing time with Leeds United and Nantes, but was expected to get a bigger move.
Last year Adryan was being tracked by Turkish giants Fenerbahce, and Brazil legend Zico predicted the player would get a move to a major European club, following interest from the Yellow Canaries.
Adryan spent a season long loan at Elland Road in 2014 after arriving from Cagliari. However, the attacking midfielder played just 12 league games for Leeds United, scoring no goals.
The Brazilian was also given the 2014 Fallon D’Floor award following a dive against Derby County whilst playing for Leeds United.
In light of new claims, worth reiterating Monday's Italian claim that Ekuban – Leeds is pretty much done. #LUFC #MOT https://t.co/LIMoLgKPPv pic.twitter.com/yNJCBxFoFx
