After many weeks of whether he would stay in England or move abroad, Robin Koch has made a decision about his future at Leeds United.

He was never going to stay at Elland Road to play in the Championship, and it appears the appointment of Daniel Farke will not be changing his mind either.

That’s because Sport Bild in Germany explain the centre-back has ‘decided to move’ to Eintracht Frankfurt next season.

However, the deal isn’t done just yet, as ‘details still have to be clarified’ between the Bundesliga side and Leeds before he can complete the transfer.

While there was competition from Bayer Leverkusen, it appears those in charge in Frankfurt did just about enough to get his approval on the move, allowing Eintracht to ‘prevail against top-class competition’ for both Koch and Ellyes Skhiri.

In fact, the arrival of the Leeds defender and Köln midfielder means the German side ‘will probably get two absolute dream players’, bolstering their squad nicely ahead of another tough season.

As for Leeds, they will have to make do without their towering defender, leaving Farke’s new squad a bit weaker than when he joined.
