Over the last month, various claims from Italy have stated Leeds United are interested in Torino’s Saša Lukić.
On December 5th, Torino Granata reported the Whites are ahead of AS Roma, Lazio and others in the transfer chase.
The 26-year-old is not the only midfielder on Leeds’ agenda for the winter market as Angers’ Azzedine Ounahi is also a target for them.
Ounahi starred for Morocco at the World Cup and his fine displays in Qatar has attracted attention from several clubs. This includes Jesse Marsch’s side, who are ‘allegedly moving rather eagerly’ to sign him.
The Serbia international has been a long-time target of José Mourinho and the Premier League side have recently shown interest in him.
If Leeds end up signing the Moroccan, Torino could evaluate an exchange deal with Roma for Lukić. The Giallorossi could possibly include Marash Kumbulla in the operation to bring the Serbian to the club.
For Roma’s hope to become a reality, Leeds have to either sign Ounahi or look elsewhere to strengthen their midfield.
