Ronald Koeman and two Everton officials watched the match between Malaga and Celta Vigo on Sunday, with Marca saying the trip is because of increasing interest in Sandro Ramirez.
Malaga striker Sandro is in a fine run of goalscoring form and has been linked repeatedly over the past couple of weeks with a move to the Premier League.
By some way Tottenham have been the club most linked with Sandro, with Mauricio Pochettino said to have interest since the player was at Barcelona.
Vincent Jansson failing to have the goalscoring impact expected has led to Pochettino being linked to a series of forwards as possible Tottenham squad additions.
Everton’s growing interest is likely to be encouraged by Sandro’s great recent form, and he continued that by scoring against Celta Vigo. It was a home match for Malaga, with the away team concentrating on Manchester United midweek, so perhaps Koeman will want to see a tougher test.
Should Tottenham or Everton decide to make a move then they’d only have to pay the player’s buyout cause, which is around €6m. Though not said to be directly in his company, Koeman wasn’t sat far away from Sandro’s agent on Sunday.
