As the summer window approaches, we start living a flashback of what happened last year. One of the new/old stories showing its head is that Chelsea would still be interested in Roma centre-back Konstantinos Manolas.
It’s Tutto Mercato Web who are claiming Chelsea officials will be at the San Siro this weekend to watch the player in the league game against Milan.
The London club would also have a £30m bid prepared for the player, which the website doesn’t seem to know if will be enough for Roma to accept.
Manolas was much linked to many English clubs in the past window, but none of them seem to have found an agreement with Roma. Especially because it was revealed that if sold last year, 50% of the fee would go to his former club Olympiacos.
At the start of the year, Manolas’ agent was quoted saying Roma refused an offer from Arsenal… Let’s see if Chelsea will bid enough this time.
