Jurgen Klopp is ‘already pursuing’ a deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, with Liverpool’s renewed interest potentially changing Bayern’s plans for the player.

That’s according to journalist Manuel Bonke, who reports that Gravenberch was a key subject discussed in the latest meeting of Bayern’s hierarchy.

Gravenberch has long been linked with a potential move to Liverpool this summer, with his name emerging as a target even before the likes of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho had headed to Saudi Arabia.

His name has now re-emerged as an option after the failure to sign either Moises Caicedo or Romeo Lavia, with reports claiming Liverpool are now looking at a deal for him once again.

This has not gone unnoticed by Bayern and Bonke reports that at the latest transfer meeting between Bayern’s leadership, Gravenberch’s future was ‘discussed at length and in depth’.

He explains that the original plan had been to keep hold of the Dutch midfielder and not give him up this summer but that could now have changed.

That’s because the player is having a ‘difficult time’ under Thomas Tuchel and Liverpool, specifically Klopp, are ‘already pursuing’ him.

In other words, Klopp and Liverpool’s efforts coupled with the player’s unhappiness at the Allianz could now be enough to convince Munich to sell.
