Leeds United have been linked with Erick Pulgar for some months, and the claims have gained in strength in recent weeks.
Most of the reports originate from close to the midfielder’s club, Fiorentina, and the Whites are usually very much in the thick of it.
Back in September, we covered claims that Leeds had tabled a £10m offer for the player, yet that wasn’t considered high enough by the Serie A club.
On January 4th, it was reported Leeds United is an interesting proposal, and then two days ago, the Yorkshire club was described as being the ‘most concrete’ in the race for Pulgar, with the player edging closer to a farewell.
Fiorentina News take a look at the situation, and they believe their local club is looking for around €12m to part ways with the player in January.
That figure is around the same as the claimed Leeds summer offer, so it would appear there’s a deal there to be done should Marcelo Bielsa push for it this month.
