TNT journalist Nicolás Distasio has ruled out a move to Everton for striker Rafael Santos Borré, with the player’s agent denying the suggestion.
The Blues are thought to be on the hunt for a striker in the January transfer window, with that area remaining a problem one for the club.
Moise Kean has so far struggled to find any form on Merseyside, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun are not the regular goalscorers that the side desperately needs.
Reports suggested Santos Borré was a player that Everton were looking at, with rumours that a €15m bid had been lodged.

This was denied by his agent when Sport Witness contacted him, and Distasio has poured even more cold water on the rumour.
He has also spoken to the player’s agent who told him the striker is ‘not interested in Everton’.
According to the journalist, this is because Borré knows that if he goes to a team in Europe, he will ‘play little’ and that’s not something he wants as he’s got his eye on a place in Colombia’s squad for the Copa América next year.
That seemingly rules out a move to Everton at this point, who, if they are after a new striker, will seemingly have to turn their attention elsewhere.
