Ousmane Dembélé is sidelined with injury, but that’s not stopped him from advising Barcelona over making new additions to the squad.

On Friday, El Desmarque explained Dembélé told the La Liga winners to sign N’Golo Kanté after learning the midfielder ‘wants to leave’ Chelsea next summer.

That’s because the former Leicester City star wants to test himself in another league. It was also suggested the Catalan club are behind other clubs and Real Madrid are believed to be the first choice for the 28-year-old.

Mundo Deportivo journalist Miguel Rico provides an update on Barcelona’s stance regarding Kanté, who is valued at €100m.

He makes it clear the World Cup winner is neither included in the Camp Nou club’s transfer list nor he is expected to make it to the list.

Chelsea are looking to strengthen the squad after their transfer ban was lifted and with money at their disposal, Rico claims it’s ‘strange that N’Golo Kanté is included in the list of possible (outgoing) transfers’.

Rico’s report should put an end to rumours linking Barcelona with a big money move for Kanté.
