Chelsea’s attempt to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan obviously continues to be one of the big topics of the week in the Italian media, especially with the big figures involved.

The latest claims on this saga have been saying the Blues could offer as much as €130m to get the Belgian star, and it’s clear this is an amount the Nerazzurri will hardly say no to.

This is something admitted by former club president Massimo Moratti today. He spoke to Tutto Mercato Web about Lukaku’s situation, and acknowledged that it’s ‘a temptation’ for Inter Milan to take such a big bid.

“I also read in the newspapers about this negotiation with Chelsea, honestly I don’t know anything more than what has emerged,” started Moratti.

“We are talking about €130m, for Inter it’s certainly a temptation.

“I don’t know the numbers and I don’t know what the club’s needs are today, but the figures we are talking about are certainly important.”

Still, Inter Milan fans aren’t keen on the transfer, regardless of the money involved. Many supporters have been showing they’re against the sale, and one of them, Alessandro Rimi, who’s well known at the club, spoke to Tutto Mercato Web about this as well.

In front of a sign saying ‘Lukaku can’t be touched’, the ‘historical fan’ said there’s no price for the striker’s departure.

“Lukaku isn’t sold even for €150m,” he insists.
