Turkish giants Galatasaray are in the transfer market for a couple of defenders, as boss Jan Riekerink wants to strengthen his defence ahead of the season opener.
According to Turkish journalist Gökmen Özdemir, who also works for Lig TV, Galatasaray are interested in signing Newcastle star Daryl Janmaat.
It’s very likely Janmaat is an alternative to Debuchy, and it remains to be seen if the Turkish giants make an offer for the Dutch international.
Janmaat has another four years left on his contract at the Championship club, but there hasn’t been much interest in signing him.
