According to claim in the Swedish media, Djurgarden defender Felix Beijmo is still receiving attention from foreign clubs ahead of the next window.
The 20 year old was linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the last window following claims he held ‘intensive talks’ with the Championship champions.
Fotboll Direkt report Beijmo is continuing to be monitored by clubs abroad after impressing for Djurgarden this season. The youngster played his part in the Swedish Cup final victory over Malmo last week, providing an assist for the Stockholm club.
His contribution in the game will have only helped to raise his profile and Fotboll Direkt say the player is valued at 20m to 25m Krona (£1.7m to £2.1m).
Beijmo was close to a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the last window, and that coincided with the club appointing Gary Goodchild as their head scout in Scandinavia.
However, at the time Wolves had other transfer priorities and subsequently they pulled out of the deal.
It’s still likely Wolves will be casting an eye over the right back after extending their scouting network in Scandinavia, and given the impact the youngster has made this season.
If the English side were to revive their interest in the Swede they’d expect to face competition from German clubs.
