Everton star Richarlison will always be full of interesting stories, and the last one was told on a live chat on Youtube last night.
The Toffees star took part in a conversation with journalist Thiago Asmar, former Brazil goalkeeper Julio César, Ajax winger David Neres and Arsenal defender David Luiz.
With Asmar always looking for good headlines, he once again asked Richarlison to talk about the fight with Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk last season.
“What fight? It was at the time of the game that we argued,” said Richarlison.
“There was a little fight there, which we … here it’s a classic match. It’s the Liverpool derby. We wanted to win, they wanted it too. So we ended up in a little fight there. Just like in every game, I have with one of their players.”
Richarlison then revealed there’s now a new rivalry with another Liverpool player following a relatively strong tackle, to say the least.
“The last game I made that challenge on Thiago and got sent off. My goodness. Then I went on Instagram to apologise and such. He only saw it. I said ‘I’m going to delete this message too, since he doesn’t want to reply’. Then I went there and deleted it. He didn’t answer, no. Then there was the derby now, at their home, he didn’t look at my face, I didn’t look at him, either. The game goes on. He ignored the pigeon.”
The conversation went on with them all telling funny stories, and Richarlison is featured today in several outlets from the Brazilian media, as the Everton man was also asked if he’s gone out with singer Anitta.
Earlier today, we also covered the quotes from Julio Cesar, who talked about the mockery he had from family and friends at the time he played for Queens Park Rangers, back when the club were managed by Harry Redknapp and still in the Premier League.
