Halmstad forward Ardian Berisha has told the Swedish media he’s hoping he can get a move to Leeds United.

The 19 year old is currently on trial with the Championship side, along with his club teammate Noel Tornqvist.

In an interview with 24halmstad, Berisha was asked how he thought his time with Leeds United was going: “For me it’s a win-win situation. I will experience my dream even if I’m not successful.

“But I’m here to get a contract, then we’ll see how it goes. I hope the coaches are happy with me. I am satisfied with myself.”

Bershia has yet to make his senior debut for Halmstad, but last year scored 30 goals in 42 games for the Swedish side’s u19s.

Another player hoping to get a contract with Leeds United is Tornqvist, a goalkeeper, after another trial with the club.

The 16 year old impressed last November when he travelled to England for his initial trial with Leeds United, and like Berisha he told 24Halmstad he wanted a move to Elland Road.
