Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku has been on loan at Inter Milan since last summer and there’s no clarity over where he’ll play next season.
His temporary stay at the San Siro is until the end of this season, after which the 30-year-old has to return to Chelsea. The striker was asked about his future plans during Amazon documentary, ‘One for All’.
“We’ll see, I live from day to day. I don’t experience any stress or pressure. A decision must be made. That’s it,” he said, as quoted by Het Belang van Limburg.
His deal at Chelsea lasts until 2026. Earlier this month, Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta said that he is unaware of the west London club’s plans for the Belgium international, who’s keen to continue at the San Siro.
The Chelsea owned player is yet to enjoy success in the European competition and has won only domestic titles with the Serie A side and Anderlecht so far.
“Thibaut [Courtois] has won everything there is to win. We have in common our hunger for prizes. If I could have his track record, I’d be even happier. Many people play for fun, I play to win,” Lukaku explained.
With regards to his international future, he said: “I have the urge to continue until the European Championship in 2024. Then I will have completed three World Cups and three European Championships.”
