Joachim Andersen of Sampdoria has been constantly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Earlier this month, we covered claims from Italy, who explained the Serie A outfit’s chief Antonio Romei travelled to London to hold talks with the Premier League outfit’s representatives regarding the defender.
The 22-year-old has featured regularly for his side this season, starting in 29 matches across all competitions and his impressive form has seen him draw attention from Spurs, Manchester United, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus.
In addition to this, the Dane also received a call up from the national team during this month’s international break, but Andersen finished both matches as unused substitute.
He gave an interview to Danish outlet BT and they asked him about the recent reports linking him with Tottenham and other big clubs.
Andersen said, “It’s football. That’s the way it is. I’m just playing, and it’s positive for me that there’s been a lot written about a lot of big. I can’t do much about it myself. I’ll do the best I can. I’ll have to decide if anything comes up.”
The Sampdoria centre-back recently changed agent and is now represented by the Stellar Group, who also manages the likes of Gareth Bale, Luke Shaw, and Saul Niguez.
