German newspaper Bild have a big claim on Thursday regarding Sead Kolasinac and Manchester City. The 23 year old’s Schalke contract runs out in the summer and recent good form has only served to heighten interest in what could be a brilliant free transfer.
Bild say Kolasinac isn’t short of offers, having already received proposals from Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, AS Milan, Juventus and AS Roma.
Clubs know a bargain when they see one.
Manchester City are making real efforts to get ahead of the rest, if Bild are to be believed, and the player’s agent met Pep Guardiola on Tuesday. Bild say Gordon Stipic held talks with Guardiola about a transfer, and the German newspaper are sure Manchester City will be tempting.
Kolasinac can tick the money box at Manchester City, join a club who expect to fight for titles, see a clear path to the team, work for a top coach in Guardiola, and even reunite with his friend Leroy Sane.
Sane is said to be close to the left back from their time together at Schalke, which can only help Guardiola’s persuasion efforts.
