According to Greek website To10.Gr, Olympiacos are interested in signing Huddersfield Town forward Steve Mounie.
The Greek club are looking to act quickly in the transfer market after losing out in the race for the Greek league title to PAOK, and they’ve already completed the signings of Porto’s Jose Sa and Fenerbahce’s Mathieu Valbuena.
It’s reported by the Greek website that Olympiacos have turned their attention to the Huddersfield Town player and they’re ready to make a move for the Benin international.
However, To10.Gr says this will not be straightforward for the Greek giants as other clubs are likely to be interested in the attacker.
Olympiacos owner Vangelis Marinakis wants to win the title next season and is ready to do everything he can in order to convince both Mounie and Huddersfield Town over a deal.
Mounie has played 59 Premier League games for Huddersfield in the past two seasons, scoring nine goals. He is under contract with the Terriers until June 2021.
