AS Monaco lost 7-1 to PSG on Sunday evening in a match which was so humiliating the French principality club have refunded the cost of tickets to fans.

Thomas Lemar played just behind Radamel Falcao and got 3/10 for his efforts from L’Equipe. Having been linked with a €100m+ transfer to Liverpool and Arsenal, it’s not the kind of performance which could justify such figures.

Of course, the PSG match doesn’t reflect on an entire season for Lemar but it’s not too harsh to say he hasn’t really kicked on and a move doesn’t seem quite so likely any longer.

This weekend, Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev spoke to Telefoot, via Le10 Sport, about a transfer, and said: “Lemar? Good luck to the clubs who want him. His value? A lot (laughs). I still have some secrets.”

Interestingly, there’s been further insistence from Portugal that Arsenal are keen on Andrija Zivkovic.

Portuguese newspaper Record reported on Saturday that Arsenal would have Luis Boa Morte watch the Serbian against Porto on Sunday.

Zivkovic is a left sided winger who is increasingly being brought more into a central role, or left midfield role, flexible in position like a certain Lemar.

Just like Record said, Arsenal did have someone at the match according to the scouting list, and whilst Porto won 1-0, the Benfica player got 6/10 from A Bola.

Zivkovic would be much cheaper than Lemar.
