There comes some positive transfer news from Germany for Liverpool fans on Wednesday.
With the Italian media unable to shut up about Can moving to Juventus, potentially in the January transfer window, there’s been doubt around the player in recent weeks.
Can’s Liverpool contract expires in June, which means he’s now able to negotiate with other clubs, and there’s been countless Italian claims that Juventus will try their luck at a bargain January deal.
Losing Can in January would be a blow for Jurgen Klopp, but Sky Deutschland say it’s not happening.
The German media outlet very clearly state: ‘Emre Can will not leave Liverpool in the second half of the season. According to Sky information, an early transfer to Juventus is off the table.’
There’s no shortage of offers coming in to Can, according to the claims, with top level clubs interested in the Liverpool. Despite that, it’s pointed out that further talks with Liverpool are set to take place, bringing the possibility of a renewal.
The Turin media may not take this well.
