Willian’s performance against West Ham United last night has obviously drawn big coverage from the Brazilian press.

Despite Chelsea’s 3-2 loss to the Hammers, the winger still managed to score two goals, confirming the good form he’s been in.

In his last six games for the Blues, Willian has four goals and two assists. That makes a lot of people wonder if the club will really let him leave as a free agent at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old spoke to Globo Esporte after last night’s match, and claimed he’s not thinking about his contract situation right now.

“My future remains undefined. I’ve been looking to live in the present, enjoy every game, help Chelsea to achieve their goals,” said the player.

Willian has also commented on the fact that he’s now the only player in the Premier League who’s scored in all months of the year.

“Any individual record is in the background when the collective result is not achieved. Of course I live a good moment, the goals are coming, but it is not a day to exalt that.”

The Brazilian has been making it public that Chelsea are offering him a two-year deal, but he wants three. He’s been linked to several clubs in the past few months, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
