On July 1st, Juventus confirmed the arrival of Felix Correia from Manchester City and the sale of Pablo Moreno to the Etihad club.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Serie A giants and the Citizens could work out another swap deal, involving Gabriel Jesus, and there has been ‘intense contacts’ between the two sides.

During the negotiations for the Correia-Moreno swap deal, it’s claimed the Brazil international’s name was also discussed.

The Old Lady have reiterated their interest in the City striker and also made it clear they are ready to make an approach for him, if the Premier League side decide to make him available in the market.

The website adds Juve chief Fabio Paratici has also received a ‘yes’ from Pep Guardiola’s side for a potential exchange operation.

City value Jesus around €65m and the Turin club have identified Douglas Costa and Aaron Ramsey as players who could be brought to the negotiation table.

This all sounds wildly optimistic from a Juventus perspective.

Last month, Jesus’ agent Cristiano Simões insisted the player is happy with the English club, but didn’t rule out the possibility of his client leaving City this summer.
