Even though Andrija Zikvkovic isn’t the biggest star at Benfica, the attention he keeps getting from transfer stories continues to be pretty considerable.

This week, we’ve covered a very interesting story saying Fulham would be one of the clubs who are planning to sign him in the next transfer window.

The idea would have come from manager Slaviša Jokanović, who thinks his compatriot could be a summer addition in case the London side manage to get Premier League promotion.

Now newspaper Correio da Manhã has an interesting update on Zivkovic’s situation, finally putting a pricetag on him.

With the player having a €60m release clause, no one really knew how much Benfica would push for. But now the newspaper claims it’s half that amount.

The only thing stopping the Portuguese side from selling now is that they want to wait for the World Cup. The Eagles believe Zivkovic can have a great tournament for Serbia, and therefore put his price up.

In case Fulham really get promotion, €30m is certainly a price the Cottagers could approach in a deal including bonuses.

With Fulham’s interest being reported by Record, and this article coming from Correio da Manhã, the Whites are not mentioned in this latter story.
