Fulham have ‘returned to evaluating’ January move for defender – Other target asked for too much

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, it appears the Arsenal man asked for a bit too much money, and that’s why Fulham have ‘returned to evaluating’ the profile of the AS Roma player.

The Serie A side want to get rid of him permanently in January, meaning they will only accept an outright sale or a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of it.

Whether Fulham do meet these demands remains to be seen, but they are warned that they have competition in the shape of Marseille, with whom Tiago Pinto, AS Roma’s technical director, boasts ‘an excellent relationship’.

Therefore, the Craven Cottage side might need to move quickly for Karsdorp if they are intent on getting him in the coming weeks.
