Fulham could look to loan Oostend attacker Cyriac for the season, according to claims in the Belgian media. The 26-year-old spent six months on loan with the Championship side in the last campaign.
Het Nieuwsblad have reported Oostend are looking to offload Cyriac in the next window in order to pave way for new players to join this summer. The Ivory Coast international looks surplus to requirements with the Jupiler club, and Fulham could offer them a solution to their problems.
Fulham loaned Cyriac in the second half of last season, but they didn’t activate their right of redemption on the forward. Around a month ago it was reported in Belgium that Fulham were considering taking Cyriac back, but wanted to find out their league status first.
The West London side are open to the possibility of loaning the Ivorian for a season, and given Oostend’s desire to get rid of the player a deal could be done.
Cyriac played nine times for Fulham last season, scoring one goal, but all his appearances came via the substitute bench. The centre forward has two years remaining on his contact with Oostend.
