Fanatik report Besiktas have identified Porto’s Jose Sa as a replacement for Fabri, who’s been the subject of reported strong interest from Fulham in the past week.
The Turkish newspaper report the Portuguese goalkeeper is a target for Besiktas, and that talks with Fulham are set to continue over the signing of Fabri.
Last week we covered reports from Turkish press that Fabri is a target for Premier League newcomers Fulham and that they’ve offered €4.5m for the 30 year old. Fulham’s initial bid was said to be €3.5m.
According to Fanatik, talks are ongoing with Fulham for Fabri and Besiktas are now demanding €7m for the Spanish goalkeeper. Last week it was claimed this had dropped from €8m to €6m.
Besiktas may be wary about coming to an agreement over a renewal with Fabri, who has just under 12 months left on his current, and it’s possible he could be replaced by Jose Sa this summer.
