Signing for Guingamp on a free transfer back in January, Clément Grenier managed to get his career back on track after leaving Lyon.
Scoring five goals and picking up four assists in 15 appearances during the second half of the 2017-18 campaign, the 27-year-old reminded everyone why he was once one of the most exciting prospects in France at one point.
His performances, according to L’Equipe on Monday afternoon, have attracted quite a lot of interest from around Europe, with Everton, Fulham and Newcastle in the Premier League intrigued by what they saw.
The French newspaper report the Toffees, the Cottagers and the Magpies have all been in touch with the player, who is said to prioritise a move to a club playing in a European competition should that option become available.
However, Grenier is also aware that a move to the likes of Fulham or Newcastle has its advantages.
Only signing a 1.5-year deal with Guingamp when he arrived, the midfielder now only has the one year left on his contract, meaning he’d be relatively cheap, as L’Equipe reckon €3m could be enough to convince the Ligue 1 side to sell.
As well as the Premier League trio, AC Milan, Rennes and Fenerbahçe have all also made their interest known.
Strong competition, that’s for sure.
