Will he stay or will he go? For a while the consensus has been that Arsene Wenger will likely continue beyond the current season at Arsenal, and is just wiating for the right time to share that news with the club’s supporters.
L’Equipe believe Wenger remaining is now the most likely outcome, and they state the Arsenal manager could extend for just one season at the Emirates. Whilst some fans are frustrated with the club’s recent fortunes under Wenger, the French newspaper point out the club’s board remain happy with the man in charge.
But the summer could still bring change. L’Equipe reckon Arsenal could be set for a ‘dramatic shift’ in transfer spending, as Wenger gets ready to ‘hit hard’ in the summer transfer window.
Wenger is already working on several possible summer transfer, according to the French claims, and it could be an exciting summer for Arsenal fans, and give the manager one last throw of the dice.
