Entertaining on and off the pitch, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has never held back when giving interviews or talking to the press, and his latest tete a tete with the media didn’t go any differently.
Speaking to SFR Sport in France ahead of the Manchester derby on Saturday, the former Paris Saint-Germain was asked by the French TV channel what he missed the most about his time with the Ligue 1 club.

His answer? “I miss my last salary from Paris. That is what I miss.”
The striker then went on to say the team he left is still capable of great things, that their squad was still strong enough to try and achieve what they want, which is to win and go far in the Champions League.
However, he also explained things won’t be easy, otherwise everyone would win all the time, but that if they worked hard, they’d get there eventually.
In true Zlatan fashion, though, he ended with: “It’s not my problem. I have my own problems”.
Going back to that salary quip, though, was that a hint the player took a pay cut to join Manchester United?
After all, if he was on more at the Premier League club, he wouldn’t necessarily miss his PSG wages.
