Fanatik say Fenerbahce will face stiff competition to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Vincent Janssen, with reports Standard Liege, Anderlecht and Schalke are all keeping tabs on the player.
Yesterday, we covered claims from Turkey that Tottenham are ready to offer €19m plus Vincent Janssen to sign Fener midfielder Eljif Elmas, but the Turkish newspaper today reports Fenerbahce will not have it all their own way in the race for the attacker.
According to Fanatik, there are also three Chinese teams following the Dutch player and now Fenerbahce need to act quickly to land the player.
After spending the 2017/18 season on loan with the Super Lig giants, Janssen returned to Tottenham last summer, but due to injuries he was only involved in the latter stages of the season.
He made just a few appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and his future looks uncertain with the Premier League club.
It would surely be to Fener’s advantage if it’s true Spurs have offered them the player.
The former AZ Alkmaar striker is under contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until June 2020.
