Daniel Levy getting personally involved swings transfer for Tottenham as terms agreed

Say what you want about Le10 Sport, but it seems they were spot on regarding Tottenham reopening talks for the transfer of Lucas Moura.

Their information about Daniel Levy personally getting involved came on Wednesday, and, according to RMC Sport on Friday, the London club have now agreed terms with the player regarding a four-year contract.

Down their end, the French club are still waiting for the €25m (bonuses excluded) they want for the Brazilian.

RMC Sport explain the situation between the two clubs could become more clear early next week, suggesting there’s a good chance Tottenham will end up paying Paris Saint-Germain their money.

Lucas Moura travelled to London on Thursday, which is when the agreement was reached, and now all he can do is wait.

If that wasn’t enough, L’Equipe are also reporting things are well on their way.

Considering Daniel Levy will be involved in the negotiations in some shape or form, this could drag on as the Tottenham chairman is likely to fight for the best deal possible for Spurs.

He always does.

It’s worth noting this also backs up claims coming out of Brazil on Friday, which say terms have been agreed.
